Introduction

A message from the Principal

Today, everyone needs to speak English. It is the language of the global economy, travel and the world wide web. If someone from Poland wants to do business with someone from Switzerland they use English. In many countries it is difficult to get a good job if you do not speak English. If you want to travel to almost any country in the world you will need to communicate in English. If you want to sell your skills abroad you will have to do it in English. If you do not speak English you will be at a disadvantage.

So, choosing the right language school is very important: you may be leaving your country and family for a long time or you may need to improve your English quickly in a short time so you can get a better job. You may want to work in England to pay for your studies or you want to combine a two week holiday in London with some language learning. Whatever your reasons, you will have to make a real commitment in terms of time, money and effort. Administration Staff

We have an administration team that speaks Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, Hungarian, Japanese and Russian as well as English.

The administration team can help with telephone, email or office enquiries about enrolling on a language course in London. They are always available to offer guidance and advice about all aspects of living, working and studying in London.

Academic Management

King Street College has a Director of Studies who has overall responsibility for the academic welfare of our students. She is assisted by an Academic Adviser who has a day-to-day responsibility for students and teachers. Director of Studies has the RSA DELTA qualification.

We have CELTA qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers are observed frequently and regularly and have access to the most recent supplementary materials. They attend external seminars on ELT methodology and receive in-service training on best practice in the classroom.
